Sunderland, Fulham and Aston Villa: Kate Middleton’s wedding vows

Mme Salut, red & white and a copy of Kate's ring given away with a €5.99 magazine

Q: William Arthur Philip Louis, wilt thou have this woman to thy wedded wife, to live together to God’s law law in the holy estate of Matrimony? Wilt thou love her, comfort her, honour and keep her, in sickness and in health? And forsaking all other, keep thee only unto her, so long as ye both shall live?

A: I will

Q: Catherine Elizabeth, wilt thou have this man to thy wedded husband, to live together to God’s law law in the holy estate of Matrimony? Wilt thou love him, comfort him, honour and keep him, in sickness and in health? And forsaking all other, keep thee only unto him, so long as ye both shall live?

A: Aye, but only on condition he stops supporting them useless sods at Villa who nicked our top scorer. And that the Lads bring a smile to the faces of me cousins and marras in Hetton-le-Hole and down at Beedle’s fish and chip shop in Bishop, by beating Fulham at the Stadium of Light tomorrow.

To the many Villa fans who visit this site – may I recommend the following.

It’s really good because it doesn’t take much to wind it up.

I came over here to avoid the rather predictable media frenzy surrounding the marriage of a chinless wonder to a rather bonny lass. I am very disappointed to see that Salut hitherto considered a refuge from the banalities of life deems the event worthy of reference.

Is anyone counting the number of insults thrown by her father in law so far?

The Telegraph headline had me cringing. “William and Kate delight crowds with balcony kiss.”

You’d think they’d just had a game of Mr Wobbly hides his helmet in front of the corgis.

Blimey, that’s two sense of humour breakdowns in three comments!

I’m the traditional square face sort of guy Malcolm. As opposed to the sour faced, humourless and whingeing kind like dazza. At least dazza proves that the NHS are effective, despite Cameron’s cuts. His charisma bypass has been a huge success.

Pop by any time for a chat dazza. If you are going to post again try and rehearse your humour. Try it out on your mother or your neighbours and see if you can stir the clapometer before hitting “Submit Comment.” We welcome anyone on Salut but there’s a line drawn just above where it says “halfwit.”
