Salut! Sunderland Podcast: We Talk Man City And Chelsea.

podcast

Well despite only picking up a point from our last two games, the performances were encouraging, writes Stephen Goldsmith. I doubt any of us are quite believing that the great escape is on just yet, but it does give us a little scope to be positive on this week’s podcast. Hooray!

It was a bit annoying that we got a point at Man City, it feels neither here nor there in regards to what hope we have of beating the drop. A win would have given us an injection of positivity and really made things interesting. A defeat would have brought on the inevitable relegation a bit quicker and aided us in the hope we could be put out of our misery a little quicker. But a point? The smidgenest of smidgens of hope, perhaps.

Joining myself and Gareth Barker in the famous WMS studio was James Hunter from the Evening Chronicle and editor of A Love Supreme fanzine, Martyn McFadden. Both always good value as guests. We review Man City and preview Chelsea, with David Chidgey from Chelsea FanCast joining us on the phone to help with the latter.
You can subscribe on iTunes or listen below. I’d do both.
